A Different Approach to Dispute Resolution

Crilley Law Offices is a full-service law firm offering advice and representation in a variety areas of law and dispute resolution: from drafting of Wills, advising Businesses, navigating Family Law matters to zealous litigation/representation of our clients as well as unbundled Legal Services and Collaborative Law representation.

Crilley Mediation Services provides alternative dispute resolution such as Mediation and Arbitration. In addition to Mediation and Mediator Training we offer Parent Coordination/Coaching. We also provide 40-Hour Family Law Mediator Training.

"Due to the increasing Court backlogs and delays, I am committed to the use of Alternative Dispute Resolution techniques and Collaboration as the first resort, using litigation only when impasse renders settlement impossible."

CHRIS CRILLEY

Oh No! Now What do I Do?

The purpose of this book is to answer the questions that you may have at this moment and perhaps other questions you will have later. This book is set up as a tutorial whereby you can read the entire book as a “how to” to navigate your divorce/separation; it is also written so that you can spot check certain matters/questions that are pressing you in the moment.

I have been practicing in family law for over forty-years and have answered hundreds of questions for my family law clients during this time. I am a lawyer, mediator, collaborative lawyer, arbitrator, litigator, parenting coach, and parenting coordinator; I have also trained others, nationally, in many of these areas of practice. I won’t say that I have heard it all when it comes to divorce/separation, but I suspect that I have heard most of it.

The object of this book is not to solve any of the problems or make any decisions that you face, but to educate you in the process and terminology— knowledge is power

Disclaimer: THIS BOOK IS NOT LEGAL ADVICE. This book is not a substitute for legal advice. The purpose of this book is to help you understand the process you are going through so that you are better able to process the legal advice that you will receive during your legal process. I strongly urge you to seek out legal advice from an attorney practicing in the location of your divorce/separation action.
